What are Dental Implants?
| Dental Implants are titanium fixtures that replace
teeth that are missing. The implant part that sits in the bone has a crown
over the top and so can look just like a natural tooth.
The systems have
been around for over 40 years, but newer techniques mean that we can offer
this comprehensively in most cases in Gympie in our practice. Implants can be used to
replace one tooth or twenty. |

How long does it take ?
This depends but it can be as little as 90 minutes. How can I find out if they will work for me?
If you have a missing tooth and do not want a denture
or a bridge, but want the gap filled, then an examination and necessary X
rays will cost approximately $120. This will establish if you can have
implant therapy.
