The Awful Truth Some things about dentistry are sometimes left unsaid, because the truth hurts. Or because we often presume that people know these things. If you want to know what we mean, then you may want to read this file. If you have any decay or gum disease, then you might want to read this. It could save you a lot. As Jack Nicholson says in "A Few Good Men" - "You want answers?...... You can't handle the truth" Click here to get the file downloaded
Team Members Jason Alfrey, has joined us from Brisbane and continues the work that Silvia was doing for Mark and Branka's patients. Jason Alfrey is from the southeast of Brisbane where he has lived all of his life. After finishing high school, Jason enrolled at the University of Queensland Dental School where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Oral health. He also attended Queensland University of technology where he studied and completed Public Health. Following graduation Jason began when working for the Queensland Health with the North Brisbane Oral Health Services. There he practiced in the School Dental Service providing general pediatric dentistry and in the community oral health service where the treated varying periodontal diseases alongside the resident specialist Periodontist. In addition, Jason has provided lectures to various aged care facilities in specific dental health care and associated dental pathologies using his public health studies as a basis for his wider endeavours in community health. Outside of work to Jason enjoys all things music: playing the guitar, bass guitar and drums. He also enjoys good food, wine and socializing. His treatment and education are a direct result of a sound understanding of the complexities of the individual and how dentistry interacts. All treatment decisions are a result of consultation between the dentists, Jason, and the patients to ensure a successful approach to dentistry.
